In their second match of the IPL against Mumbai Indians, Shakib took 1 wicket for just 23 runs in 4 overs.

The all-rounder showed Suryakumar Yadav the way to the pavilion, which became dangerous for the team. He made 57 off just 36 balls with 2 sixes and 6 fours and was caught by Shubhaman Gill in a great delivery by Shakib. Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins also took 2 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs.

Andre Russell, who came on the first attack in the 18th over, returned home with his second ball to Kieron Pollard. He took two wickets back-to-back by bowling in the wide line.
Russell took 3 wickets for only 10 runs in the last over.
